A popular day out for participating companies, their teams and supporters; spectators and families alike, the Zurich Corporate Touch 6s is a fun-filled community day with plenty to see and do. It has grown from an 8 team tournament in 2012 to 32 teams which is testament to the accessibility of the sport. Touch is a very easy game to learn which involves minimal contact so anyone can play, regardless of age, gender or ability. The tournament aims to bring together businesses from across the region for some healthy corporate competition, and does a good job of helping to shake off office inactivity too!
Entering your team provides a fabulous platform for branding, corporate exposure, media attention and supports corporate social responsibility initiatives. We have a maximum of 32 team slots open across the Men’s and Mixed tournament. It is strictly for employee based teams – a perfect team building opportunity AND we provide free training sessions in the lead up to the tournament! So, what are you waiting for? Rally YOUR company team and join in the fun at the 7th annual Zurich Corporate Touch 6s community day on Friday March 16th, 2018.
But it’s not all about the game! The event has become a relaxed and entertaining family day out set up on the stunning grassy fields of the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club. There is plenty of sideline entertainment, scheduled demonstrations, live music and activities throughout the day for everyone to enjoy. Its free to enter, safe for kids and lots of F&B options including food trucks and live cooking stations. We suggest you gather your colleagues and their families, kick off your shoes and use this as your ready-made Corporate Family Day out!
It was great fun and it was a very good bonding experience – we really enjoyed socializing with the rest of our team outside of work. There was also plenty of stuff for kids and families to do.
It was the first-time Deloitte participated and we were really pleased. The event ran very smoothly and the matches were played in a good spirit. We liked the 3 men and 3 women format for the mixed teams – makes for a very inclusive team and game.
For sports fans, the games are great to watch and the quality of play has increased over the years. For those who aren’t rugby enthusiasts, there is so much to see and do. You can bask in the sun listening to live music, munch on some tasty treats from the food trucks, or get active and make use of the Bounce trampolines, petting zoos, and arts and crafts.
It’s amazing to see how the quality and attendance of this event has rapidly grown since it started in 2012 and this is true testament of its success and popularity.
The event was extremely well organized and professional and catered very well for children/families.
The event just gets better and better! A lot more teams, more people and the venue was fantastic.
Congratulations on a very well organized Corporate 6s: it’s inspiring to see the event go from strength to strength – just as it did in Hong Kong 20+ years ago. Clearly everyone was enjoying themselves, both on the pitch and in the various areas of shade, near the food and drinks stands and on the Terrace.
The new venue was great! Availability of food and drink was really easy and with a good range of options. Competing for the event was professionally done and timekeeping was great (which is not often the case at these events!). Fantastic, thank you!
We are so incredibly pleased and excited at how far this tournament has come! Our new ‘home’ for the tournament is simply stunning and makes for such a great relaxed day out for spectators as much as it makes for a great playing ground for the teams. Thanks to all who get involved – we look forward to seeing you all again next year!
It’s great to see how much the tournament has grown. More and more families come along, more things for the kiddies to do, it’s more like a carnival type atmosphere now, but with touch rugby as well.
